Here's the deal...

WetWesties has a listmember self-described as a "semi-retired single woman, now driving my third in a succession of VW camper vans" who just popped the motor in her '84 auto. Being "semi-retired" money is quite a concern. So... we're looking to find a replacement 1.9 that's serviceable. She lives in Vancouver, WA so west coast might be ideal, however we could possibly arrange for shipping from about anywhere in the US of A.

Anyone got a serviceable 1.9 motor for cheap?

Jim
