Subject: iPod solution?

I came across this today at the stereo shop when looking for a new head unit. I was looking for something to wire directly an iPod into the dash because those FM transmitters always give me static. This Alpine unit is around $100 US and I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with it. Between that and a remote I'll never have to get out of bed.

Here's a link to a VW Vortex article, although it doesn't give much of a review.

Thanks Jeff
