Send it back and get the unit with the electric servo. The Vanagon does
not have enough vacuum for this to work reliably. Will eventually
disconnect on almost any hill.

Hi All,


I'm still trying to find information where to grab vacuum for the
aftermarket Audiovox cruise control I'm trying to wedge into my 84.


How about teeing it off the brake booster line?


I think I have identified it: it comes out of the throttle body just
behind (rear is rear)  the #4 cylinder's intake manifold, then swings
forward and through the firewall on the upper left.
