The intake manifold seems to be just a big hollow can, so theoretically the brake booster's as good as any other spot. The only caveat is that a break in that large line will probably cause you to suddenly lose engine power AND revert you to non-power disc brakes. I personally would tee off the fuel pressure regulator connection point and run a separate line up, but I've already got the grill, fuel tank, tranny, and engine out of mine, so to me it sounds easy (pulling the plastic coolant lines to re-seat the metal inserts took me five minutes).
