I use the same technique with a metal sawhorse and a come-along. But hanging the suspension has always been a problem. I like the idea for the suspension from underneath with a frame. I may be soon using both of them shortly because of an erratic leaking mainshaft seal.

For those debating the above method of hanging the engine. I would recommend his complete framing over my sawhorse method. It will be far more stable with that full frame. jimt
