When the rattling of the plastic screen frame started driving me nuts I folded up and inserted a small piece (1"X1") of felt between the frame and window. Stopped the rattling and squealing both. Brent http://www.weidefamily.net/vanagon/ ------------------------------

Oh yeah... thanks for jogging my memory. I *DID* do something with that knowledge - exactly what you proposed below.

No good, the plastic just bows again. It worked for about a week, i think, before it was doing exactly the same thing. I was thinking of getting a little piece of felt trim to clip over that edge. The idea being let it rub, just don't let it squeal.
