Subject: vanagon syndrome-- need capacitor
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hello, I think me 85 has this syndrome.I have all the symptoms and they have been getting worse recently, I also have stalling at start up occasionally, where I never had this before. Gotta do something about it. Whenever I start getting the bucking, I just floor the van and it stops doing it. I have the repair text that has the capaciter with the smiling face on it.Down loaded it from somewhere-I have seen this paper many places before, so it is common on the list. My question is , where can I get the 15V 22 microfarad tantalum capaciter ? I am sure that I need a capacitor that will work in very warm places. Can I get it at a radioshack type place (local), or must I mail order it? I tried to fix the afm by removing the lid and cleaning with contact cleaner, but I only made things worse. It is real bad. Thanks, Roger
