Only the return line should have to come back. A 2nd evaporator set up may require a larger compressor and more condenser capacity. You also need solenoids and controls for when you only want to run one. Two sets of evaporator fans may also require a larger alternator and definitely improved wiring from the existing. Simply adding a second AC may result in disappointment. Since the BEHR unit has its own internal evaporator wouldn't the AC line just T off of the existing lines coming out of the evaporator?
