I just looked up the {current} european legislation on speedometers: - It should never read lower than the actual speed - It should read at most actual speed + 10% + 4km/hour May be VW does a better job, but a brand new one can read 114km/hr when you're driving 100. So you are lucky when yours is accurate :-)
