You get what you pay for...A couple of years ago I failed Virginia safety inspection on the GoldBrick due to torn CV joint boots (front inside, both sides). I was underneath the GoldBrick today trying to figure out where the ground line went for the Fuel Tank sensor (Bentley says front left cross member...but I'm sure it is different on a Syncro.) Anywho, I noticed that the cheap clamps (zip ties) that the previous folks had used on the CV joints are both gone and of course that lovely molybdenum grease has been sprayed all over the place up there. This >IS< one of the jobs I pay other folks to do as I hate that grease. |
