Heh. That's a good question, perhaps one he wished he had asked himself before sticking it on.

(shrug). Can't say for certain what he used on his door, but if it was Peel & Seal branded stuff, it's 45mil, just like that B-Quiet Extreme stuff. According to the forums frequented by annoying stereo thumping kids who drive Civics with wings on the trunk, it's exactly the same material.

One of the aforementioned boomin' bass dudes claimed "I had 3 layers worth fall off of my trunk lid this summer", but every other report on the stickiness is along the lines of "sticks so well, I can't get it off". Dunno if those guys' opinions are worth anything, but I reckon it'll stick fast if you roll the bejeebus out of it to follow the contours.
