I replaced my under the rear bench with a unit from a 80-90s US make
conversion van.

these are self contained heat and AC units with 2 squirrel cage fans.

it moves a lot of air, but i'm not sure yet on summer AC comfort (don't
have the AC side hooked up)

they can be had for about $35 from any u-pull-it yard, look under or
over the rear seats in a hightop conversion van.
