Hi folks,

Well, I've finally got some email access after a week in the Tetons and
Yellowstone!  Where Matilda has performed in exemplary fashion, gotten up
the hills at a dignified and respectable pace, and even the fridge worked
during the delightfully sunny days.  And she didn't get scared of the
grizzlies, or of the bison who walked right by us on the road, or the baby
moose that walked past in the campground, or anything.

I met two Scottish ladies in a yellow '77 Riviera conversion a couple of
days ago, and just thought I'd alert you to keep your eyes out for them.
They bought the bus in Washington a few weeks ago on e-bay, and have been
heading east in it.  They'll be traveling another couple of months, then
hope to take the bus back to Scotland with them. I gave them some useful
websites in case they need help, and the names of a few people to look up if
they find themselves in Michigan.  Their bus has 158K on the original engine
- hopefully things will hold up for them!

And Greg, I encouraged them to go to Buses in the Corn - their bus is just
the right color, too!

They were great fun, a riot to hang out with.  Their names are Grace and
Julie - if you come across them, please do introduce yourselves!

p.s.  "Ladies" is slightly tongue-in-cheek!  I'm sure they'd laugh to hear
themselves described that way.  But their accent is thick enough to cut with
a knife, and somehow it seemed the right appellation for them.
