Volks,

A member of our community is in need of help.

Recently  ... Nanette Allen (of WetWesties in Vancouver, WA) had the
misfortune to blow an engine.

1985 Westy, 1.9L, automatic transmission.

Unfortunately cash for repairs is very short.

A few days ago Jim Arnott, admin for WetWesties put out a call on WetWesties
for help.

We are looking for a good used 1.9L Engine or cash donations to help
purchase a used engine or possibly rebuild the current one.

Last year I established a "Pay It Forward" fund to help folks get disabled
vehicles back on the road.

Since then, thanks to your help, we have been able to get two Westy's back
on the way to new adventures.

Currently I have $117.60 left in the "PIF" (Pay it forward fund)  and will
donate these funds to this need.

Also I have the following items for sale and will donate 100% of any monies
paid for these.

For Sale:

1) Never used rebuilt set of 2.1L VW Heads - value ~$500-$600
2) New Cylinder Head Gasket Set - value ~$60

If there is interest I'll sell them here and if not then eBay.

If you know of a "KNOWN GOOD" 1/9L Waterboxere engine available really
"cheap" please contact Jim, Nanette or myself.
