Subject: Not cold in Maine (AC that is)

During a recent trip my R134A conversion (been working for 3 years) quit blowing cold. I shut it off for the rest of the trip.

Now that I'm home, I put a recently acquired gauge set on it and, either statically or with the compressor running (no low pressure cut out on my '85), the low side and the high side read the same. Both are at 30#.

Is this indicative of needing a charge or does this indicate a component failure?

Thanks,

Mike
