Check hoses and gaskets at the top of the gas tank - they might well need
replacing.

Until then, don't fill the tank all the way.  If the smell isn't there with
it only partly full, it should be the hoses or gaskets on top.  I think you
can get a kit to replace them all from Bus Depot.
