The K&N air filter does not offer any noticeable benefit for the Vanagon. If you want to do any improvement without replacing the air box, get the Syncro severe dust area filter, (fits 86+). More surface area will improve air flow just like the K&N without allowing silicates to go through.

Does anyone use one of these and if so how has it been?

Also where did you pick it up...I dont see Vanagain or Bus Depot selling one.

My LAPS does not have them in stock....I love hereing the phrase "A Vanawhat?" at the stores I go to!
