How long did the last charging last? I think a recharge will last longer than 5 or 6 weeks, if your system was working good ,before hand.I vote-- recharge! Be sure to add a bit of oil w/ the 134a.It comes mixed into the 134a can.If you are adventurous, try ebay for an education and a hose and a few cans of 134a.
