IIRC, before 1985 models there was no fuse for that circuit so no wires for it at the fuse panel. Easy to connect elsewhere though, since so many switches and such in the dash hook to the same source. Look for any grey/blue stripe wire. They run most everywhere. Splice into one or solder a wire to the back of one of the IC switches that has a grey/blue connection, such as the rear window defogger or emergency flasher switch.
