>>>>Well I didn't make it, the rear end of the van slid into the ruts just at the exit of the turn. Bottomed out, stuck.
Don't feel so bad about being stuck, it happens to syncro's also (maybe more so). My number one rule now is....when faced with a questionable puddle, get out and test it's depth. When you're just not sure what's ahead... get out and WALK IT 1st. And don't think those small trees and brushes won't tear your front CV's boot. I've had to replace 1 a year, for the last 3 years (and that's being careful). And yes the finish on my van has streaks like scratches all down it's side from bushes and limbs. I really want to keep my van in good shape BUT... I also really want to enjoy my life. And neither the KOA nor retirement homes are getting my business yet. RR |
