Here's a little trick i used many times to remove the pilot bearing. Once the tranny is out look into where the pilot bearing is. Fill the center of the bearing with grease. Now find a long rod, the same diameter as the hole in the center of the bearing. Place it over the hole filled with grease and give it a wack with the hammer. The hydraulic pressure is more than enough to move the bearing out. Sometimes it takes a second filling of grease but not to often. |
