Hi all, I have been trying to figure out an a/c issue for a couple years now. I get my system recharged and it will blow cold for awhile but as soon as I get on the highway it will stop blowing cold. I have replaced the thermostadt, the front switches, the high pressure switch, all the relays in the relay bank back in the rear left pillar and it still shuts down after highway driving for 30 minutes. Could it be freezing up? After sitting it will again blow cold for a short time. Any advice is welcome. I've asked the a/c shop to diagnose this problem but they haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks. Rick Koller '90 syncro westie, '91 sometimes cold carat |
