Just came from Big O Tires. Should be called "Big O Load of B.S."!
Had them swap the alloys from the '88 Westy to the Michelins from the '90 Westy, and
then the Big O crap tires to the steel wheels, mount them on the '88 and I take the
alloys home to re-mount on the '90. Seems simple enough. NOT!
Had to keep an eye on them all the time. They kept calling it a Eurovan and wanting to
use EV specs.
So, I have looked in Bentley, my owners manual, Haynes, and can't find any special
torque value for the alloys. Are they different, or the same as the stock steel
wheels, and is that
123FtLb or 133FtLb? I find both values.
