The difference here is the mechanic is installing a Jetta electric pump . Allegidly.

I didn't now , or wasn't aware that a Jetta used an electric water pump. Nor was I aware of an electric auxillary water pump was available for an oil burner either. Where does it mount? Where do you cut the coolant lines to fit? Interesting stuff.
