Doubtful if all plug wires would go bad at same time. How old are wires? What does inside of distributor cap look like? Is it clean or does it have carbon tracks?

Hello all,

I'm getting no spark at any of the plug wires... I tested the lead from the coil to the center of the distributor cap and it showed ~16,000 ohms of resistance (if I'm reading the multimeter correctly). Manual says max of 2400 - would this high resistance cause no spark, or just very weak spark?

Anybody know anywhere in San Francisco that sells this wire individually? All the FLAPS sell it as a (rather pricey) kit.

Cheers! Mike.
