What is going on is that either the power wire or the ground to your motor is partially broken (or maybe one of the other wires in the switching circuit). This is letting voltage get to the motor, but is cutting down on your amperage. The best way to find this problem is to pull the rubber boot back that is between the door and the body. Doing this usually will break the already partially broken wire and then you can just splice it back together and your problem is fixed. If you don't find it this way, just look up the color of the wires you are looking for in the Bentley and examine those wires in particular. About 95% of all problems with power window electricals are caused by partially or completely broken wires in the door jamb area. I always check there first.

Is the best/easiest solution just to run a new wire parralell from the drives side switch? IIRC the power trace runs from the fuse box, to the driverside switch and then over the passenger door... need to check benetly to be sure. > >Thanks, >Jon > > >
