A friend and I recently made new curtains for my '85 Westy. The old brown ones were threaded onto the cord at the bottom and kind of billowed out. My roommate suggested making the new curtains a bit longer and tucking them behind the cord. So we made them 1" longer and tucked them behind. I bought some black elastic cord at the fabric store to replace one side that was stretched out. I like the look of them much better when tucked in, but am thinking that it would be a good idea to thread the one over the stove onto the cord as it gets blown out with the window down. We also made a curtain for the skylight and velcroed it in place. I have an interior shot if anyone is interested. Maggie '85 Westaru "Anne Bonney" |
