My 84 GL has gotten very hard to shift in all gears lately. Locating gears is even more vague than usual, and once in a gear, it's really hard to get out. The last time I backed out of my drive, I didn't think I was ever going to get out of reverse. It doesn't appear to be any different whether the engine is running or not, so I believe that it's not related to the clutch, but either the shifter mechanism or the trans itself. Any ideas where I should start my search for the cause? == Frank Miller |
