This was used in an air taxi business for just over three years along with another that was special ordered. That's all I know of up here. The PO who I bought this from said that Transport Canada didn't like importing them because they thought they were "flimsy"...... I guess from a crash perspective. However, nothing on the govt. books to stop the company from importing them and it happened.... Anyway tried selling this late last year thru Gerry/ TheSamba and then delisted as winter was closing in... but it has to go this year. Given the feedback last year on importing from to the States despite having the Conformity Cert (included just the changing of the speedometer/emergency brake labelling) I can understand why nobody stateside would like to touch this with the red tape. So local/canadian it will go...... way too many cars in the driveway right now!! Scott '91 DDoor GL
very cool..... anyone know how many of these were sold in canada? i've never heard of one in the US... chris |
