  Does anybody know how to get these rear speakers out. I have an 84
vanagon with the speakers mounted in the upper compartment where the ac
unit is. I see it has a black ring around what appears to be a brown
insert that snaps into the black ring. The tabs are too long to push in
without breaking. Whats the secret here. I want to replace them with
something else but i might have to use the housing. What works here.
