Constant loads of 530 watts will probably run fine. An AC, however, will
start and stop the compressor as required. This places a very large surge
load on the supply. I have a 1000 watt Honda generator and it doesn't
handle my 5000BTU AC (520 watts) very well. It nearly pukes and sometimes
trips the overload protection when the compressor turns on.

Well, based upon this one which is the same manufacturer and supplier
(Costco)
It may handle the 530 watts.

I picked up the $77 window AC unit from Sams.
REALLY good price, didn't feel so badly for having to pay the $30 bucks to
sign up.
I will be plugging it into the 1000 w inverter I have set up in the syncro
and see what happens.
I know it kicks out automaticly so hopefully it will not damage anything.
Just for the record I did connect my 600w shop vac to it and it ran fine. we
will see what the AC does to it.
If not off to Costco to make the leap to 1750w
