that's exactly where mine is. i cruise at 67ish, which means i waver between 65 and 70 as my mind and right foor wander. i never ever go above 4000 rpm. i have bfg at's, so my diameter is a bit bigger and my speedo is accurate, at least compared to those radar detectors with big digital displays scattered around my town.

My tach reads about 4000 RPM at 70 MPH. Does this seem about right? It's an 87 Synchro.

Cruising at 4000 RPM (or more) doesn't seem like the best idea, but at least here in Southern CA, 70 MPH is about the freeway minimum.
