Howdy, I've always noticed that the temp gage on my 85 hovers just above the second half of the red led. However, when I engage the heater, good things happen and the needle drops to evenly cover this light.. I'm not sure how many degrees this is, but at least its in the right direction. I think things could be improved if I were to flush the system. What is the best way to do this, from the radiator or from the engine. How does one get the thermostat to open to do a good job. (is that really important?) Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks, Newguy |
