hi list, ok so we have a new westy and i did read the article on btdt what i should do: change coolant, fuel hoses, brake fluid. is there anything else one should exchange while the coolant is out, i mean, are there hoses that typically break? the waterpump was done in 2000. also gowesty is selling these extra clamps that shall hold the long coolant pipes better than the stock ones, anyone recommendations? when i got the vanagon two weeks ago coolant level was very low, in the first week i nearly added 3/4 gallon, but now it seems stable. so i hope no leaks.... thank you for your suggestions! florian |
