Once again, I'll reiterate. The Westy's AC can work quite well. If your isn't, it isn't working properly and needs service.

I spent 6 hours today driving (88 degrees in Virginia) with AC the entire time. I had to turn the thermostat down and use speed 2 on the fan as I would have been frozen otherwise. And I drive a dark (burgundy) Westy, which will be hotter in the sun than white Westy's.

If you want air to get to the front close the two vents on the bottom and the two outside vents. The 4 (?) center ones will direct quite a lot of air to the front.

Today, I noticed I had condensation on the outside of my rear window, from the opening up at the top left. I may have to find some foam to block that with.
