84 VW Full Camper, Yellow, in St. Louis area.

After years of enjoying both this list and my VW, I find that I need a new home for my Westy, and would rather see her go to a list member. So. highest offer over $3,000 by July 25th. Questions by pmail (preferred) or voice mail: 314 286-4050.

132K miles, heads done by VW at 93K. Runs great. New (last 10k miles) clutch, brakes, alternator, water pump, and battery. New seals around pop-top. Just passed MO smog. Originally a California van, after sixteen years in the bay area, it moved to Missouri, where it was never driven on snow or salty roads. Oil every 2000 miles, or as needed for the seasons. (Only factory filters.)

Body is fine, with no rust. Bumpers have taken a couple of, well, bumps over the years. Interior is in great shape. all seats covered with shearling since new. Camping equipment works perfectly. Cold fridge in all modes, stove looks like new, and the original covering is still on the drain board.

Canvas top has had two mildew holes hot patched with canvas (doesn't leak), and the new owner will probably want a different radio. Also, the skylight needs to be replaced, as does the muffler. The van comes with all original screens, curtains, tables, ice cube trays, and manuals, including Bentley.

Thanks, Andy
