<<<Anyway, I want to install a CD receiver in my van. Can anyone recommend a car CD player which is cheap ($100 - $150), but durable, and does not look like it was spec'd out by the boys from West Coast Customs? George Jones>>>

Possim'

Cheap and good means only one thing. Walmart, K-Mart,Gimbel's Walgreen's, Woolworth's, Gamble's, Western Auto, or Ben Franklin.

Where all of your finest twanger's shop for radios, & CD player's.

What year is your Van?

You might look at E-Bay for a retrofit 4 track player instead of that high end CD unit and maybe with some Bobby Zimmerman tapes with it.

Might fit the budget better.
