Subject: Re: Advice...temp to high.... after new parts....

Thanks to all....

Sound funny to me.... posting about cooling system... if there is something i should know about it's that...he he he..

So i went back yesterday night....very late....

A bit more: I was finally able to bleed that suc****** and get some heat in the front.... the rad was flushed from one of the 2 main hoses in the back (top, after heater T connection), i never saw anything strange comming out from the other main hose... the flow look more than normal to me (it's not the first time a do that...) normal coolant until clear water show off, more pressure = more flow... very smooth, So, on my own web-site i explain that i had deffective T-stat before... but, and a big but here... i have another 1.9L and some 2.1L in the shop... so, at night, yesterday, i tested that van + another 1.9L, from cold to when about t-Stat open... anyway, both van started to have "hot front rad" at the same time!!!!!!!!! but way different reading in the front temp gage, so i took my infrared temp gun.... did some check, about the same reading everywhere.... from head to exhaust, rad to coolant line... plug to core... about the SAME temp on both engine.. but, the van is question was a bit higher, but not by much....

But still, i got some oil in the coolant, and that is a fact... Front rad was never change... and yes, if the exp. tank was full of that "Goo", there is some everywhere else... that goo, after some testing had a "sand like" deposit in it... and i do have some little bubble in the tank... but at every bleeding/flushing i do i have those bubble for a little wile....

Oh yea, no pressure when i remove the exp. cap after 15 minutes when very hot..... NEW cap... stupid leak somewhere... and the things is i don't have time to remove that engine!!! i have 4 engine/van to do.... before this guy....

I putting a new temp sender on the T-Stat housing this morning... if it's not working, removing the T-Stat.... not working.....

I hope you guys had a good 4th...
