Edward, Bad idea to rebuild unless you know the history of the one that you are rebuilding. Busdepot has a good price, but if you can get one at kragens or somewhere else that is a lifetime you might what to go with that. I think I gave about 50 dollars for a rebuild at kragens that comes with a lifetime warrenty. It is rebuilt but they wil supply as many rebuilds as I need. It has been four years on this one with no problems. Kragen has a website "partsamerica.com good luck, gary Date: Mon, 4 Jul 2005 21:16:29 -0400 From: Edward Maglott <emaglott@BUNCOMBE.MAIN.NC.US> Subject: rebuilding master cylinder

Back In the 80's I bought a kit and rebuilt the MC for my '76 Scirocco. It was inexpensive and pretty easy to do. Do they still sell these kits? Has MC technology changed since then so that this is no longer a good idea?

Edward
