If you're doing a new install and just going for the "industry standard" type equipment, your best bet is probably to go with an MES system <http://tinyurl.com/7awgb>. They look the same as all the others, but they work a LOT better than the cheap taiwanese knockoffs. They're an OEM for Ferrari and BMW, if that's worth anything. You pay a little more, but you definitely get what you pay for and it's not THAT much more than the crappy stuff. I replaced a crappy taiwan setup with an MES kit on my Dodge van at work, and I definitely haven't been sorry.
