OK... but how does this relate to US Postal Money Orders being cashed in Canada by Canadians like the original poster stated? It the policy of the Post Office and Banks to cover their ass[ets], if they receive a money order that says "Negotiable in the USA and it's possessions" and we are not the USA or one of it possessions, then they will not cash it. It the person sending the money order in the first place was to actually read what they are sending they would realise that they are sending the wrong thing and that they need to send an International Money Order. This is one of many reasons why my business will not accept cheques or money orders - just too much BS associated with them.

We receive money orders from Canada every month for payment of our Skreenz. They are from various Canadian banks and credit unions denominated in US Dollars. No problem.
