I wouldn't get so upset. Personally, I would gladly pay you 6000.00 on
Tuesday for a Westy Syncro today. Of course, you always have the option to
decline and dash off a "you gotta be kidding me" letter.
Tell them that's a fine down payment but the rest is due before delivery.

There are a few items on this list that are actually not installed

"completed condition". The only VW option it is missing is the locking
differential.
If I thought I could buy this van for $6,000 I would buy ten and sell
them on eBay for at least double the price....
