Having recently moved my Shady Boy from my '87 maroon Westy to my new '89 gray Westy, I was glad that I didn't paint it as I had thought about. BUT even if I had, I could have repainted it gray.

I did clean up the four years tarnish off the back of the "pod" and sprayed it with a color very near the original. The meatl and the end caps took the paint well and I am re-thinking re painting the whole pod to match either the pop top or the Westy itself. I think a color matched SB would be a nice touch. Anybody BTDT? Stephen
