Chris, I had my windows tinted way back in '86. Living in Phx (115 today), I chose maximum darkness (75%?) for all but the cab windows, which, IIRC, are 50% dark. I don't like the mirrored look, as it offers dangerous reflections to other drivers. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in some states, and could get you harassed by the Highway Patrol in those (pretty sure [not positive] Cal doesn't allow it). There is a new product on the market which actually includes metal within the screen which is supposed to help a lot with UV passage and does not look highly reflective. I think that John Rogers son does installation, and I'd imagine that he'll chime in on this with more accurate info.
