Aaron,

Send him an email and ask about Federal EPA and DOT certification.

Remember, the Federal government owns the highways, not the individual
states.  In order for a vehicle to be legal for use on US highways it MUST
have DOT and EPA certification (local registration means absolutely
nothing).

the seller states that this van was legally imported: "Again This
Vehicle Comes with a Clean Title, NOT A SALVAGED Title, NOT A KIT CAR
Title & NOT A REPLICA Title, like so many other JDM vehicles out there.
This Vehicle Was Not Dismantled and reassembled to get around
registration, this vehicle was registered by the book!"

any guesses as to how he accomplished this?  i can think of a few 4wd
vans i'd like to import.
