With my dometic portable I found that I kept about 50 to 55 degrees below amibient (high setting) but with a thick blanket covering it I kept 60 degrees below ambient. (did not cover the gas air or exhaust port. Donšt like my blankets burnt).

The one I would like to get my hands on is the Dometic F400. This unit is like my portable fridge but is actually a freezer/extreme duty fridge. jimt
