no reason to have it done professionally. I just did it with my windows, no big deal. Get yourself a bottle of windex, spray liberally, scrape carefully. The toughest part was the sliding windows, but when all was said and done those were no big deal to remove from their frames (all the windows were out when I did mine.) Take your time, give it a few hours, et voila! no more tint.
