Hey! You tryin' to say that Syncro owners love their vans more than the rest of us!? Grrrr... What got me about the whole thing was that if there's a 'Cult of Vanagon/Syncro/Westy' than this is it and he (Gronski) is one of us. Who does this clown think is acquiring and preserving these things? Probably why he's set up where he is, anyway- always a sucker out there with more cents than sense.

Cya, Robert

I love this line:

" It's obvious you know your Syncros, but our buyers want original equipment. It's a bit of a cult following "

I can't imagine ANY true member of the Cult of Vanagon (including the much more fervent Cult of Syncro Westy) valuing a STOCK Vanagon over one with any of the well-known, recommended improvements. If someone is a "cult follower" willing to pay MORE for a stock Vanagon, they need to be knocked upside the head. This guy's a lying weasel. Obviously the "cult following" is nothing more than the standard Uninformed Sucker. They sound like any other used car dealer: buy cheap from the unwitting, and sell dear to the unknowing.
