I have the Hanover tent with floor and sleeping cabin, it came as a package deal when the Bus Depot first offered them up last year I believe. I've used it twice, both times were extended camping trips of 5 days or more. Overall I really like the extra space/storage area that it gives you. It opens up quite nicely too when you want to get some air flow and views. The setup is fairly easy but I found it necessary to have someone help me, maybe with more experience with it I could do it alone. However I find it nice to have the company. I've never used the floor or camping cabin but have set them up when I first got it. Depending on your needs I think that you can get by without them. And it's nice that it's a stand alone tent when you want or need to drive away and go somewhere. And very nice that it attaches to the van when your at home base. So yea I'd give it a thumbs up, not a necessity but definitely nice to have when the need arises. I'm glad that I have it.

Anybody put a Hanover together and want to tell me how long it took? I know the canvas tents can be a bugger to put together.

I am looking for something a that is more than an awning, A changing room and a place to store my gear out of the way (and sight) would be nice.

Thoughts?

Cheers.
