This is another case of BS.  I get US money  orders in payment for goods
quite often.  I bring them to my local Royal  Bank, where I have my bank account,
and they are cashed in current exchange  Canadian funds no problem !  I'm also
pretty sure any Canadian Post office  will cash a USD Money Order.
